Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the United States for more than forty years. She is most famous for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). In the 1950s, she started her career as an actress on stage for Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it famous in the national stage scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. The same year, she debuted her debut music album called It's Tina Time. Her debut appearance into Hollywood was in the role of Griselda in God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 drama. The film received widespread applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. In the course of this film, she was joined the Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection with Lee Strasberg as his student. In 1964, she signed to CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters that reflected her reputation as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has made a name for herself as a director of popular TV shows like Supernatural. Born in Essex August 28th, 1965. The family relocated to Toronto for her early years. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision for the role of lead.
