Kate Hudson, an outstanding actor is most well-known for her part in the Hollywood film Almost Famous. It led to her receiving an Academy Award nomination. Her birthplace was a clan of film stars and appeared to have a natural talent for the limelight. Her mother, Goldie Hawn, is an actor with a lot of fame, and her father, Bill Hudson, is comedian. She was an avid performer at a young age, and was always eager to take advantage of any opportunity to dance and sing on stage. She was taught dancing by her parents, and took ballet lessons at the Santa Monica Playhouse as a child. In 1996, she received a role as a guest in the TV drama Party of Five. When she was accepted into New York University by Kate Hudson, her goal was to pursue a career in show business, but not be able to earn a degree. After acting in minor films her audition was for the role which would become a major in her career. She was cast as Penny Lane in the comedy drama film Almost Famous. Though the film didn't do very well at the box-office, it was well-received by the critics and resulted in Kate a star in the American film industry.
